Disclaimer

  • I write about myself, my family, my friends, and occasionally about strangers, like the guy who rides past our house each morning on a bicycle covered in twinkling bells. I never write anything with the intention of upsetting, hurting or embarrassing anybody (except myself). But I also cannot take responsibility for how you might react to something that I write. There's stuff between the lines, apparently, that only some people can see. Also? The comments posted on this blog do not always reflect the positions and views of the author. Sometimes my readers say some really crazy shit. Doesn't mean I agree with them. Thank you.

For the people of Tibet

Here's a petition to sign.  Just so you can say you've done something meaningful today.  Turn the speakers up and close your eyes.  The music is haunting.

"When we feel love and kindness toward others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace."

- The Dalai Lama

There are many, many extraordinary photographs on his website.  Go and see.
